About This Project
Maia Farms, an innovative B2B startup in the plant-based food industry, has developed Canpro, a mushroom-based protein designed to mimic the texture of real meat. During the exploration of packaging design, it was discovered that Maia Farms maintains close ties with the Canadian Space Agency and had previously won one of its prestigious competitions. This connection served as the inspiration for a space-themed design concept.
The packaging envisions how Canpro might appear aboard a space station, leading to the creation of a clean, minimalist, and sci-fi-inspired design language. To enhance the modern minimalist aesthetic, retro-inspired typography and graphical elements were incorporated, adding a unique and dynamic touch.
